To use access keys, you must hold down 'alt', 'shift' and the key itself. For example, to access home you would need to press: 'alt', 'shift' and 'h'.

Web Accessibility Policy
Introduction
Copper Cove Holiday Villas is dedicated to providing users with a fully accessible web experience. All content has been monitored in a manner to make all users able to access content, this includes people with learning difficulties and disabilities.
In compliance with W3C priority levels, Copper Cove Holiday Villas' aim is to represent model web accessibility through staged implementation.
Why do we need accessible websites?
Many people who use the internet have a disability. These disabilities can prevent the user from experiencing a website to its full level if not accessibly altered. Disabilities which can be accounted for are: hearing impairment, sight impairment, physical disability or learning disabilities. Consequently, accessible websites should allow any person from any location to successfully access and navigate a website.
A fully accessible website should maintain a minimal loss of information regardless of the person's disability, what web technology they happen to be using, and whichever location they are trying to access the site from. W3C mentions that accessibility does not only benefit those with a permanent disability, but can benefit people in situations including injury, slow internet connection and elderly people (2005).
Development and Maintaining Content
New and existing content will be created and monitored by staff in conformance to level 2 standards (AA). Level 3 standard (AAA) will also be applied where possible. Content will be made fully compliant by the date mentioned in the action plan.
Implemented Accessibility Features
- The development, content and design of Copper Cove Holiday Villas have been created in compliance to the W3C guidelines and regulations. The site incorporates W3C WAI WCAG 2.0 level 2 (AA) and level 3 (AAA) compliance.
- Alternate text has been implemented for non-textual content. Therefore it can be accessed by screen readers. Content has been structured in a logical manner which assists users with disabilities.
- Access keys have been implemented for users who do not have access to a mouse.
- All content will adhere to a minimum level 3 (AAA), compliance by the 1st of January, 2010.
- Copper Cove Holiday Villas ensure that the conformance of W3C priorities will be monitored and applied to new and existing content in accordance to W3C, WAI, WCAG 2.0 guidelines by staff members.
- Accessibility will be monitored for people with disabilities. If an issue occurs, it will be dealt with in a timely and feasible manner.
